Tilika D’Souza

Tilika D’souza is an artist, art educator and paint maker. Tilika started Studio Passepartout in 2020 to bring traditional paint making techniques and recipes to the art community in Dubai. The studio currently offers hand mulled watercolour paints mulled from artist-grade and archival pigments sourced from family run quarries around the world (some even ground from the earth of the UAE) and binder made with local, natural and ethically sourced ingredients. Being an avid scuba diver, Tilika’s paintings and the products she creates are largely inspired by nature, both of human and of the earth. Since 2021 the artist has taken on painting large watercolor pieces depicting the life and vibrancy of coral reefs around the world through her collection 'Reef Memories'.
