Spencer Hogg

Spencer Hogg works in various mediums – painting, sculpture, photography and performance art. His work is influenced by ten years in the UAE, incorporating Islamic art, landscapes and materials in his everyday environment. He useshousehold, found and construction materials that are fabricated/arranged in strong geometrical forms. Often, they are combined with vivid palettes of colour, enticing the viewer to engage and reflect on the deeper meaning of the artwork. Spencer has been exhibited at ‘Vantage Point 5’ (Sharjah Art Foundation, 2017), NYU Abu Dhabi Art Gallery (2017), Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival (2018, 2019) andEtihad Modern Art Gallery, Abu Dhabi (2018).
