Khalid Mezaina is a Salama bint Hamdan Emerging Artists Fellow and studied at the American University of Sharjah and the Rhode Island School of Design (USA). An experienced teaching artist, he has worked with organisations including Sharjah Art Foundation and Tashkeel and has participated in exhibitions, projects and residencies, both in the UAE and internationally. he launched ‘Krossbreed’ in 2010, an interdisciplinary studio for design and illustration. Khalid is a member of Tashkeel.

Get stylish and discover the basics of screen-printing with illustrator and Tashkeel member Khalid Mezaina. Make design templates and print them on T-shirts and tote bags. Begin by collaging designs to create a final graphic. Once the designs are ready, follow the basic steps behind screen printing and voila! The result will be a series of fun designs you can wear every day!
