Nasir Nasrallah
Nasir Nasrallah is an Emirati artist, curator, and cultural practitioner born in Sharjah in 1984. His practice is rooted in experimentation with materials, everyday objects, ideas, and stories, creating personal responses to the environments and communities around him. He founded Marsam Al Sahel studio in 2019 and has exhibited widely in the UAE and internationally, including at Sharjah Biennial 11 and the Cairo Biennial. He is also active in children’s books, comics, education, and cultural programming.
Nasir joined Tashkeel in 2012 as Member. A 2012 A.i.R programme recipient, he has exhibited with Tashkeel in ‘Metamorphosis’ (2014), ‘Made in Tashkeel’ (2014), ‘Mind the Gap’ (2017) and at Art Dubai (2013).
