Amna Ilyas

Amna Ilyas is a multidisciplinary artist, currently living and working between Dubai, Vienna and Pakistan. She has exhibited solo projects both at national and international venues, including Aicon Gallery (London) and Seven Art (currently known as Nature Morte) in New Delhi, India. She has been awarded several fellowships for residencies and research programmes around the world including Vermont Studios Centre, USA; Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, Scotland, UK; Northlands Creative, UK.

Amna previously worked as visiting assistant professor at her alma mater, the National College of Art, Lahore, Pakistan. She is an alumna of the Kempinski Emerging Artists Fellowship, cohort of 2011–12, in partnership with Kempinski Hotels art programmes and has established herself as one of the prominent contemporary artists of Pakistan. She is currently studying for a MA Fine Art at the University of Creative Arts, London. Amna is a member of Tashkeel and previously exhibited in Covid Conversations (Tashkeel, 2019).
