Summer Camp 2019: Character Design

Teaching-artist Azim Al Ghussein is a cartoonist, illustrator and Tashkeel’s Education and Outreach Coordinator. He makes work that incorporates print and drawing so that it can be accessible to all. Azim’s practice is based on cultural folktales and practices carried by the many people who inhabit the UAE. Through his practice, Azim seeks to bridge gaps between various cultures by sharing and connecting elements of folk cultures.
