Maitha Bughanoum

Maitha Bughanoum is an Acting Manager of Marine Assessment and Conservation at the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi. She holds a Master in Environmental Science from United Arab Emirates University. Leading marine conservation projects, Maitha focuses on critical ecosystems, employing innovative approaches like drone seeding for mangrove restoration. Managing initiatives for habitat restoration, coral nurseries, and wildlife rescue, she has played a pivotal role in Abu Dhabi's environmental sustainability and biodiversity preservation. Maitha participated in 'From End to End', a group exhibition at Tashkeel in 2021.
