Carles Llonch Molina

Born in Lleida, a little village of the Catalonia region in the Spanish State. His artistic training, has always been in relation with sculpture and space. At the Arts&Crafts school of Córdoba he gets specialized in leather Hispano-Arabic technics and wood works. At the Andalusian Restoration School, in Granada city, he studied traditional Al-Andalus construction technics, stone masonry and stone and architecture restoration. Thanks to his grades he receives in 2009 a grant to work in Florence, Italy. In 2015 he has been graduated in Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. During his studies, he gets alternative formation in Public and Urban Art, through some Congress and Symposiums. Early in the 2016 year he has moved to Unitad Arab Emirates to work as a sculptor and theme artist.
Urban and rural landscape take special importance in his interventions and photographs, which have their origin in the dérive (drift) as creation method. Those works have a casual nature, almost humorous. Also in his indoor works, the material of his creations are objects and meanings.
He had shown his work in many cities of Spain and foreign countries, as Tétouan in Morrocco, Kyoto in Japan or Guayaquil in Ecuador. Some of his graphic works are available at the Artevistas Gallery in Barcelona.
