Alya AlEghfeli is an Emirati interior designer based in the UAE. She earned her BA in Interior Design from Zayed University (Dubai) and a certificate in Furniture Design from Central Saint Martins, London. She has worked with Kristina Zanic Design Consultants, Pallavi Dean Interiors and Aljoud Lootah design studio. Alya was commissioned by Dubai Design District and the Office of H.E Shamma Al Mazrui, UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs. Alya has also collaborated with Dubai Culture and Arts Authority for an urban seating apparatus, which was exhibited at Design Days Dubai 2017. Recently, she was selected to participate in the 16th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale Di Venezia.
Alya AlEghfeli produced 'Host Lamp' and 'Host Vessel' as part of her participation in Tanween 2019.
