Abir Tabbarah

Abir Tabbarah began her studies at the Lebanese American University of Beirut, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in interior design in 2000. She then attended several masterclasses and studied under renowned Ukrainian and Crimean artists such as Pedro Bevza, Igor Shipilin, Oksana Stratiychuk and Katerina Spirtus. Abir started exhibiting in 2015 and has since taken part in several group shows, in the United Arab Emirates, Italy and the USA. These include exhibitions at the Franklin Arts Center in Minneapolis, USA; Imago Mundi Luciano Benetton Foundation in Salo, Italy; Tashkeel, ProArt Gallery and Citizen-E galleries in Dubai; and the Salwa Zeidan Gallery, Etihad Modern Gallery and the National Theatre in Abu Dhabi. In March 2016, she was shortlisted for the fourth edition of the International Emerging Artist Award (IEAA).
