Chie Nakano is a full-time artist who is passionate about working with children. Chie has studied traditional drawing and painting under the tuition of Eduardo Peña Nuñez at the Artium Peña Art Academy. She continued her studies joining Amaya Gurpide's private Atelier specializing in figure drawing and painting. You can find her most days working in her studio at Tashkeel – Al Fahidi.

Design, cut, colour and don’t be afraid to get messy! These are the ABC’s of Rubber Block Printmaking and there is so much more to learn in this fun and rewarding workshop with artist Chie Nakano. Children will experience the process of designing an image, preparing the block and various techniques to make a number of prints. For this very special edition, children will observe UAE’s animals to learn more about the wildlife surrounding us and draw inspiration for our images.
