Khalid Mezaina is a Salama bint Hamdan Emerging Artists Fellow and studied at the American University of Sharjah and the Rhode Island School of Design (USA). An experienced teaching artist, he has worked with organisations including Sharjah Art Foundation and Tashkeel and has participated in exhibitions, projects and residencies, both in the UAE and internationally. he launched ‘Krossbreed’ in 2010, an interdisciplinary studio for design and illustration. Khalid is a member of Tashkeel.

Personalized and artful goodies! Learn to create unique visual outputs with screen printing with Khalid Mezaina. In this highly popular workshop, children will create designs inspired by our local landscape and learn the process of using drawing fluid and screen filler to screen print their designs onto multiple surfaces including t-shirts and tote bags that they will take home.
