Chie Nakano is a full-time artist who is passionate about working with children. Chie has studied traditional drawing and painting under the tuition of Eduardo Peña Nuñez at the Artium Peña Art Academy. She continued her studies joining Amaya Gurpide's private Atelier specializing in figure drawing and painting. You can find her most days working in her studio at Tashkeel – Al Fahidi.

Do you know Picasso? How about Hokusai? (Hint: think a great wave against Mount Fuji). In this workshop with artist Chie Nakano, learn the art of Linocut that these great artists and many more have used to create some of the world’s masterpieces. This technique will take you through a wildlife journey to design images of UAE’s unique animals and making various prints using different techniques. While getting messy and having fun, you will learn much more about composition, visual landmarks, color theory and the concept of transferred image and whole bunch of curving tools!
