This workshop introduces participants to the traditional Turkish art of water marbling (Ebru), with a specific focus on six historical marbling patterns, each representing a unique aspect of the art's evolution from the 15th to the 17th century. Participants will learn the basics of Ebru, including the preparation of materials such as carrageenan-thickened water, pigments, and horsehair brushes. The workshop will provide hands-on experience, with participants creating seven distinct designs by the end of the session.
