The first in a series of workshops focusing purely on print based techniques. The aim of this series of 5 workshops is to build upon starting points and consider ways to develop your ideas through process leading into refined outcomes. The first workshop is Etching.
Etching is the process of using a strong acid to cut into the unprotected areas of a metal surface to create a design in intaglio. During this workshop you will learn the basics of how to prepare, make and the create a number of prints using this process.
