Creative Tech Weekends: mixed media bugs and butterflies workshop- (7 to 12 years)

In this hands-on mixed media workshop, participants will create a textured painting inspired by bugs and butterflies, combining expressive painting techniques with playful three-dimensional elements.
Participants will begin by building layered textures on their surface using paint and simple tools to create a nature-inspired background. Once the painted surface is complete, they will compose and attach a bug or butterfly toy onto their artwork, adding depth, character, and a sculptural element to the piece.
This workshop encourages creativity, experimentation, and imaginative storytelling while introducing participants to mixed media art. Each participant will leave with a vibrant, textured artwork inspired by the small wonders of nature.
