After 11 years of nurturing the creative and cultural industries, Tashkeel, the centre of contemporary art and design practice located in Dubai, is looking for experienced and committed individuals for its new Studio & Engagement Team. The four positions will support the Tashkeel membership and drive forward the organisation’s residency, training and professional development programmes for established and emerging practitioners, youth and community.

Professional Practice Coordinator: This is a new position in Tashkeel. He/she will work closely with the Education & Outreach Coordinator in the Studio and Engagement team. Together with the Membership Coordinator and Studio & Engagement Manager, they implement a high-quality studio and engagement programme at Tashkeel (Nad Al Sheba and Al Fahidi) and other locations that maximises profit, participation and quality of experience.

Education & Outreach Coordinator: This is a new position in Tashkeel. He/she will work closely with the Professional Practice Coordinator in the Studio and Engagement team. Together with the Membership Coordinator and Studio & Engagement Manager, they implement a high-quality studio and engagement programme at Tashkeel (Nad Al Sheba and Al Fahidi) and other locations that maximises profit, participation and quality of experience.

Membership Coordinator: This is a new position in Tashkeel. He/she will work closely with the Education & Outreach Coordinator and the Professional Practice Coordinator in the Studio and Engagement team, which is led by the Studio & Engagement Manager. The Membership Coordinator is the main point of contact for Tashkeel members and is dedicated to serving their needs. Based in the studios at Tashkeel Nad Al Sheba, the role ensures that members and integrated within Tashkeel’s programmes and facilities and serves as an excellent source of advice and information for members, ensuring that they have the necessary support to progress in their practice both technically and artistically.

Studio & Engagement Manager: An advocate for practitioner development, creative learning and arts education, the Manager is an experienced professional who manages the Studio & Engagement Team and undertakes the effective planning, delivery and evaluation of the Critical Practice Programme and the Residency Programme at Tashkeel. The Manager has strong relationships with emerging and established creative practitioners and organisations nationally, regionally and internationally.
Working with a team of 3 coordinators in the Studio and Engagement team, the Manager leads the planning and delivery of a high-quality studio and engagement programme at Tashkeel (Nad Al Sheba and Al Fahidi) and other locations that maximises profit, participation and quality of experience.
