Stephanie Neville

Stephanie Neville is a South African contemporary conceptual artist, living in the UAE since 1999. With an interest in textile, she employs traditional handmade techniques to express a feminine approach to conceptual art. Neville's work is an investigation into identity explored via themes of diaspora, memory and absence. Her growing interest in sustainability is examined through the environment and relationships influenced by the transient nature of the UAE. Neville holds a MA in Visual Arts and has won various awards. Having exhibited internationally, her works appear in private and public collections.
