Rand Al Drei is a Syrian interior designer born and raised in the UAE. She studied at the College of Architecture, Arts and Design at the American University of Sharjah. Passionate about various design disciplines including product, furniture and sustainable design, her design work investigates the idea of experimenting with forms that have strong visual and conceptual qualities. She currently works as a freelance designer while also working on developing a sustainable material system using organic materials. Her collaborative work, ‘DePaso’ was presented at Downtown Design during Dubai Design Week 2018.
