Patricia Millns

Patricia Millns is an artist, arts advisor and mentor. She holds a BA Honours Fine Art and MA Art and Design History. With a studio based in Middle East for over 38 years, her practice is based on the cultural significance of adornment and Middle East heritage. She is an elected Fellow of Royal Society of Arts UK, member of the Executive Advisory Board of CIAAD (Council for Int. Accreditation of Architecture and Design) as well as the Advisory Board – American University of Dubai and a member of IAPA, UNESCO. Patricia has represented the UK at Sharjah, Cairo and Alexandria Biennials. Her works can be found in private collections in Middle East and internationally and public collections including the British Museum, British Council, Royal Commonwealth Society, Windsor, Salsali, Sainsbury and Bulgari collections as well as the national collections of UAE, Oman, Kuwait and Jordan. Patricia is an honorary member of Tashkeel.
