Nazila Zarrinzad
Nazila Zarrinzad is a Dubai-based multidisciplinary artist and instructor with a strong background in both music and visual arts. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Sooreh University in Iran and has been teaching since 2002. While her career began in music education, her creative path expanded into the world of ceramics and sculpture—a field she has passionately pursued since 2018.
She specializes in hand-built ceramic sculptures, particularly expressive face planters and figurative forms. Her approach is deeply intuitive and meditative, allowing space for emotion, storytelling, and personal reflection. For her, working with clay is not just a craft, but a therapeutic and transformative experience.
She has participated in the Sikka Art and Design Festival for three consecutive years—2023, 2024, and 2025—where her sculptural work has been recognized for its emotional resonance and organic beauty. Her pieces often reflect a balance between traditional influences and a contemporary, human-centered aesthetic.
In her face sculpture workshops, Nazila offers students of all levels a chance to explore facial anatomy, proportion, and expression through hand-building techniques. Her teaching style is warm, encouraging, and rooted in the belief that everyone can access their creativity with the right support. Participants are guided step-by-step while also being given freedom to develop their own sculptural voice.
Nazila is fluent in both English and Farsi, and her workshops are inclusive, welcoming, and designed to be both educational and deeply engaging. Whether you're a beginner or have experience with clay, you’ll find her classes to be a space for creativity, connection, and personal growth.
