Mahwish Ehsan

A business student turned artist, Mahwish was attracted to natural patterns & earthy materials since childhood. She was born is 1991 in Pakistan & received her degree Bachelor's of Fine Art, majors Ceramics with a specialization in Islamic Art in 2013. She is also trained to develop Traditional & Modern geometric designs & is known for her Ceramic installations exhibited at Maraya Art Center, Istanbul Design Week, Expo Milan, Dutch Design Week and more. She also was nominated amongst the World’s Top 20 designers for Baraboux Paris at Design Days Dubai 2015. She had also received trainings from Ceramic factories in Spain & Portugal for modern ceramics & glazing techniques. Her approach for design had always been open to all fields of art & architecture. Mahwish’s passion for art & design did not end here and her career had been a parallel as an exhibiting artist, art educator, business manager cum designer and setting up a ceramics business of her own.
