Magda Malkoun

Magda’s practice encompasses figurative and abstract, inspired by the conflicts and bonds one creates with the places, events and faces encountered during displacement. Her signature style of painstakingly organised photo collages results in abstract portraits. Her work has been acquired by collectors in Beirut, Dubai, Ajman, Saudi Arabia and France. She recently exhibited at Art Dubai 2022, Bulgari Contemporary Art Award, Dubai Culture x Morrow Collective NFT exhibition (Al Safa Art & Design Library,) Gateway to the Metaverse (House of Wisdom, Sharjah), and 2021 Al Murabbaa Festival, Ajman. Her NFT work appeared in the Vellum/LA art gallery, USA. Currently her work is also at Maraya Art Centre, Sharjah and ArtHAus Beirut. She is a member of Tashkeel.
