Lina Ghalib is an Egyptian product and furniture designer based in the UAE. She completed her degree in Interior Architecture at the American University of Sharjah in 2017, graduating top of her year with the MAD and Academic Excellence Awards in hand. Lina has been working as an interior and product designer in the UAE. A Tashkeel member since 2019, she completed the Tanween design programme at Tashkeel with the worldwide debut of her arish bench-seat ‘Yereed’ at Dubai Design Week 2020.
Lina explores the realms of interior and furniture design with a strong focus on product design. Her work is inclined towards fusion of different cultures she has experienced translated into a modern design language.
Lina Ghalib is a recipient of the Tashkeel Scholarship Fund 2021-2023. The Scholarship Fund will support her Master’s degree in Interior Design at Savannah College of Art and Design, USA.
