Joumana Ibrahim
Joumana Ibrahim is a faculty member of the School of Architecture and Design at the Lebanese American University. She has been teaching there and in several universities in Lebanon over the past ten years from foundation courses to Master’s. Before becoming an instructor, Joumana was a senior art director at Leo Burnett in Beirut, where she won several regional and international awards. She is currently working as a designer with many clients in Lebanon and internationally, primarily on identity, publications, branding projects and information design. As part of her academic work, Joumana has conducted several workshops in Lebanon and abroad on data visualisation and design thinking for participants in MA and MBA programmes. She has served on juries in international design competitions and delivered workshops and seminars as part of Beirut Design Week since its inception in 2011. She holds a BS Graphic Design with a minor in Fine Art, Lebanese American University; MA Graphic Design, London College of Communication (UK); and is currently a MFA Graphic Design and Visual Experience candidate at Savannah College of Art and Design (USA).
