Fatima J Atallah
Engineer-turned-artist Fatima J Atallah holds a MFA in figurative drawing and painting from Academy of Art University, San Francisco. Classically trained and having studied under many master artists, Fatima became a full-time artist in 2015, the same year she exhibited at MOMA Kuwait. Since then, she has participated in the Portrait Society of America’s 2017 Cecilia Beaux Forum Mentorship Programme. Fatima is a member of The Portrait Society of America and the Oil Painters of America. She was a finalist in The Portrait Society of America 2019 Members' Competition. A Tashkeel member and fine art instructor, Fatima most recently exhibited at Tashkeel in Play (2019), House of Failure (2019), and Made in Tashkeel 2018.
