Eman AlHashemi

Eman Al Hashemi is an artist based in Dubai. She graduated from the University of Sharjah College of Fine Arts and Design with a BA in Fine Arts and is an alumna of the fifth cohort of the Salama Bint Hamdan Emerging Artist Fellowship. Her artwork revolves around impossible tasks, repetition, productivity, inefficiency, and confused objects and shapes through sculptures, prints, drawings, ceramics and artist books. She has exhibited nationally and internationally including Portrait of a Nation (Abu Dhabi & Berlin, 2016/17) and Transition (London, 2017). Her work is part of the Jameel Art Collection and ADMAF Collection. Eman is member of Tashkeel and most recently exhibited in Made in Tashkeel 2019.
