Anne Laure Roy

Anne Laure Roy was born in France and grew up in London where she completed a degree in Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Art and Design before working in the high-end fashion industry for a few years. In 2004, she moved to Mozambique and then to Dubai in 2010. In addition to the solo exhibition 'Retratos' (French Cultural Centre, Maputo, 2008), she has participated in group shows including: 'Arte Contemporanea' (Maputo French Cultural Centre, 2006); 'Bienal TDM '05' (National Art Museum, Maputo, 2005); 'DeLAyed' (Pro Art Gallery, Dubai, 2016); 'Sandpit Swag'(Sikka Art Fair, Dubai, 2018); 'Iftar In Dubai' (Dish Pop Up Iftar, Dubai, 2018); 'Extra-Curricular', in collaboration with Momen El Sery (d3, 2019); and 'Kids Of Arabia', in collaboration with Azaide (2017). Since September 2020, she has been an 'Emerging Artist' at the Rove hotel, Dubai.
