Twist & Create: Chenille Sculptures

Participants will transform colourful chenille stems into playful three-dimensional sculptures, decorative objects and wearable creations. Through guided demonstrations, they will learn how to twist, bend, coil, join and layer the flexible stems to construct a variety of shapes and forms. Working with different colours, lengths and thicknesses, participants will experiment with structure, balance, pattern and texture as they develop their own imaginative creations. They may choose to make miniature characters, animals, flowers, abstract sculptures, accessories or decorative objects, combining individual components to produce more detailed and complex designs. The workshop encourages participants to explore freely and turn their ideas into tangible objects while developing fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and creative confidence.
