Crochet squares, yarn and a crochet hook in use – The Crochet Studio course

Discover the creative possibilities of crochet in this hands-on beginner workshop at Tashkeel. Learn how simple yarn and a crochet hook can be transformed into handmade pieces while developing the fundamental techniques needed to continue crocheting independently.

Through guided demonstrations and practical exercises, you will learn how to create a slip knot and foundation chain before exploring essential stitches, including single crochet, half-double crochet and double crochet. You will also discover how to work in the round using a magic ring, count stitches, change colours and follow a simple crochet pattern.

Put your new skills into practice by completing small projects such as a crochet coaster and a Little Bee or Little Monster. You will receive a student handbook to support your learning during the workshop and help you continue practising at home.
