Summer Camp 2026 (13 - 16 years): Contemporary Paper Mâché Series

This workshop introduces participants to paper mâché as a contemporary artistic medium, encouraging creativity, experimentation, and sustainable making practices. Using recycled paper and simple materials, participants will learn how to create paper mâché clay and transform it into unique sculptural forms, decorative objects, and functional artworks. Through a combination of making, design development, and surface exploration, participants will experiment with texture, shape, colour, and composition while discovering the creative potential of repurposed materials. The workshop culminates in a finished artwork that reflects each participant’s individual ideas and creative process.
