How do you paint water? Inspired by the different bodies of water in the Emirates, the participants will create paintings using acrylic paint. With the guidance of instructor James Razko, our young painters will be exploring the different features of painting, including paint handling, values, contrast, composition, texture and feeling. Each participant will create one water-themed painting divided into four compositions, each exhibiting a different composition and feeling but harmonising with each other to create a coherent work of art.
This workshop will introduce the concept of saturation, value changes and mark-making, encouraging participants to use a variety of different painting tools and a limited palette to make more with less.
