Maryam Elattar is a self-taught Ceramic Artist and Illustrator. She obtained her bachelors degree from the American University of Sharjah and has further taken Ceramic Classes in Ceramic Studios in the UAE. She has started her artistic journey early on as a child and got into ceramic by a pure coincidence in 2019. Since then she has been on endless explorations with clay, pen and paper through her Ceramic brand @Trace_Creations to bring her ideas to life.

Use your hands and imagination to make your own pen holder! Our young sculptors will work with instructor Maryam El Attar to explore shape, form and textures as they learn hand-building techniques using air-dry clay. Starting with the base, the participants will build a decorative pen holder from scratch, using a variety of seashell decoration motifs to add on to the holder.
The workshop will encourage participants to personalise their creation and enhance their sculpture and design skills.
