Street Photography Series

This 2-session workshop series will guide you through the key elements of street photography, starting with its history and influential figures like Henri Cartier-Bresson and Vivian Maier. You’ll learn essential techniques, including how to use your camera's settings effectively (aperture, shutter speed, ISO), choose the right lenses, and compose dynamic shots in fast-paced urban environments.

The course also focuses on developing your observation skills and anticipation to capture those decisive moments. After a practical shooting session at Alserkal Avenue, you’ll review your photos and receive feedback to help refine your skills.

Finally, you’ll learn basic post-processing techniques to enhance your photos while preserving the authenticity of the street scenes. This course is a perfect opportunity to improve your skills and gain a deeper understanding of street photography.
