Sikka 2024: Risograph Photography Print

Learn how to print full color photographs, illustrations and designs with the faux CMYK riso printing method.

Participants will learn to separate their image into 4 color layers, showcasing the color blending capabilities of layering risograph inks. The session will also cover how the risograph machine works and on how to properly register prints, a crucial step when printing with the CMYK method. This method is ideal for printing full-color photographs, scanned artwork and colorful digital illustrations.

Participants will use concepts of CMYK printing and "riso-ify" them to work with the unique ink colors riso has to offer. They will be encouraged to experiment and explore unusual color combinations.

This class is tailored for those eager to explore the fundamentals of digital design for RISO printing. Participants are required to bring their laptops with Photoshop installed and their own digital artwork or photographs.
