Discover the creative possibilities of silver clay, an innovative material that can be shaped by hand like traditional clay before being fired into solid silver.
Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, participants will learn to roll, texture, cut and refine silver clay while developing an original design for a pendant, charm or small piece of jewellery. They will explore how pattern, form and surface detail can give each piece its own distinctive character.
Once the design is complete, the silver clay will be fired. During this process, its binding material burns away, leaving behind a solid silver form. Participants will then polish and finish their pieces to reveal the metal’s natural shine.
No previous jewellery-making experience is required.
