Step back into the roots of photography with this hands-on salt printing workshop, exploring one of the earliest photographic processes developed in the 1830s by William Henry Fox Talbot. As the first method to produce permanent images on paper, salt printing laid the foundation for modern photographic printing. In this immersive session at our store, you’ll learn to hand-coat paper, expose images using UV light, and create beautifully unique prints entirely by hand. This workshop is ideal for photographers who want to deepen their understanding of historical photographic processes and explore the craftsmanship behind early image-making.
