Discover the power of simplicity and precision in this workshop dedicated to mastering realistic black-and-white screen printing.
Realistic Black and White Screen Printing introduces participants to advanced halftone and tonal separation techniques that allow for the creation of detailed, photo-realistic prints using just one or two inks.
Guided by step-by-step demonstrations, participants will learn how to convert photographic images into halftone screens, prepare detailed transparencies, and print crisp tonal gradients that capture depth, contrast, and emotion.
The workshop emphasizes technical accuracy—such as screen exposure, mesh selection, and ink consistency—while encouraging creative interpretation through composition and texture.
By the end of this workshop, each participant will produce their own monochrome masterpiece, achieving realistic depth and tonal precision through minimal color use. Perfect for artists, illustrators, and printmakers who wish to translate photographs and drawings into expressive, high-impact prints with refined control and detail.
