Procreate Series: Design & Create Custom Fabric

This 2-session workshop will guide you through the full process of designing and printing your own custom fabric—starting with digital creation and ending with a tangible textile you can take home.

In the first session, you’ll dive into the world of digital illustration using Procreate. Learn how to build your design from scratch using layers, brushes, and colour palettes, and explore techniques for creating patterns and compositions suited for printing on fabric.

The second session focuses on bringing your digital artwork to life. You’ll be introduced to the fabric printing process using an Epson printer and heat press, learning how to prepare your file, set up materials, and apply your design for a clean, high-quality finish.

This workshop is ideal for artists, designers, and makers looking to explore textile design and gain hands-on experience turning ideas into printed fabric.
