Spring Camp: paw and clay bowl painting workshop

In this creative workshop, participants will explore the exciting printmaking technique of gelli printing, focusing on capturing and reproducing unique animal textures. Participants will learn how to apply layers of vibrant acrylic paints onto a soft gel plate and use natural and household materials like leaves, feathers, and string to create textured patterns inspired by animal skins, fur, and scales. Through guided experimentation with stencils, stamps, and layering, kids will develop their observation skills and artistic expression while mastering the playful process of gel printing.
