Aya Sakoda, Tashkeel’s resident artist from Kobe, Japan, will be conducting tea ceremonies in the month of November. Holding four two-hour sessions, the Japanese tea ceremonies will teach participants the art of making green tea (Macha), a traditional Japanese art form. Learning the way to make tea (chadou) will serve as a great way for participants to learn and understand the spirit and aesthetics of Japan. At the end of the workshop, the participants can enjoy their tea with some traditional Japanese sweets!
