Drypoint is a form of intaglio printmaking that involves scraping and scratching marks and lines in to the surface of a plastic or metal plate, ink is applied to the marks then with the use of a printing press the image is transferred from the plate to a piece of beautiful printmaking paper. During the workshop you will explore various ways of creating marks that print in different ways. You will also experiment with collage and hand coloring methods relating to the process that can enhance and add another layer of interest to your prints.
