Untitled 2

Dive into the rich, textural world of traditional printmaking with this focused workshop on aquatint, one of the most expressive techniques in the intaglio family.

Designed for artists interested in exploring tone, atmosphere, and depth, the workshop introduces how to create subtle gradients and rich tonal effects using acid etching on metal plates.

Participants will learn the complete process—from plate preparation and resin application to controlled acid biting and inking—while experimenting with layering, burnishing, and selective wiping to achieve a wide range of visual textures.

Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, they will explore how to manipulate light and shadow, producing an aquatint print that reflects both technical skill and expressive quality.

Why Choose This Workshop?

Explore one of the most expressive intaglio techniques
