​Hazem Harb Workshop

A three day, practical workshop with Palestinian artist Hazem Harb on site specific found objects and material. The day-long sessions will start with a studio visit with the artist and a site visit to Tashkeel. This will be followed with studies of found materials, either discovered on site at Tashkeel or brought to the workshop by the participants. Through a range of exercises and processes that the artist uses himself within his own practice, the participants will go through a series of steps from understanding or close consideration of the form and nature of the material, deconstructing and reconstructing objects to creating a final work that will be exhibited in the gallery space. These pieces will then be photographed and made into limited edition prints (edition of 5) and sold on the Tashkeel website.
