Handmade cold-process soap bars in purple and green – Form & Lather soap making workshop

Discover the craft and chemistry of traditional cold-process soap making in this hands-on workshop. Participants will learn how oils and a lye solution combine through a process called saponification to create natural, handmade soap.
Following a guided recipe, participants will prepare and mix their ingredients before experimenting with colour, fragrance and surface design to personalise their soaps. The workshop will cover the essential safety procedures required when working with lye, as well as the correct methods for pouring, moulding, unmoulding and cutting soap.
Participants will also learn about the curing process and how to store their soaps correctly before use. No previous soap-making experience is required, and all materials will be provided.
