A group critique session inviting artists to look closely at one another’s work, exchange perspectives and develop a more reflective approach to their artistic practice.
Through a structured process of silent observation, group discussion and individual reflection, participants will explore how artworks communicate ideas, how viewers interpret visual and material choices, and how different perspectives can deepen their understanding of a work. Each artist will have the opportunity to hear responses to their work before sharing their own intentions, followed by a short, tailored presentation connecting their practice to an art-historical reference or a compositional or technical approach.
Designed for UAE-based artists working across different mediums and at different stages of their practice, the session encourages thoughtful dialogue, constructive feedback and experimentation. Each participant will leave with fresh perspectives on their work and a short, practical insight to consider in their studio practice.
