Join Majd Alloush for a two-session workshop to discover the basic techniques of copper etching.

Etching is a diverse process, offering an artist a unique set of tools and marks with which to experiment and communicate. Participants will focus on creating intaglio prints from copper plates. During the six hours of training, Majd will demonstrate the basic techniques before guiding the group to practice individually thereby strengthening their skills and gaining confidence. Sessions will cover dry point, hard ground line etching, plate preparation and printing.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have a thorough understanding of the process and be able to continue practicing the techniques independently.
