Contemporary Geometric Jewellery

Led by Tashkeel’s Designer in Residence, London-based textile designer Fay McCaul, this workshop focuses on the design and creation of geometric jewellery pieces. Suitable for both beginners and for those with more experience in jewellery who are keen to experiment with unconventional materials and techniques, participants will experiment with heat bonding processes, in particular foil and sublimation printing. Following the demonstration and experimentation with process, each participant will design their own patterns and print on geometric shapes that have been pre-cut using the laser cutter. Finally, these pieces will be linked together to make individual pieces of jewellery.
