Building on Tashkeel's aim of nurturing the growth of practice rooted in the UAE and enabling artists to pursue professional careers, this workshop focuses on the legal aspects of achieving a professional creative career.

A key and exciting milestone in the growth of an artist's career is selling their work. In order to carry out such a commercial activity in Dubai, artists have to have some form of commercial registration. Luckily, Dubai has introduced a whole series of new options which allow artists to establish business with ease. This workshop will focus on these various options and the costs associated, and help participants navigate the often complicated territories through guidance from an expert lawyer.
