Clay Calendar

Explore the creative possibilities of clay in this hands-on workshop designed for adults, where participants will transform a simple material into a functional and decorative desk calendar. Combining ceramic techniques with personal design, participants will explore how shape, texture and colour can bring character to an everyday object.

Through guided demonstrations, participants will learn basic hand-building techniques, including shaping, cutting, joining and adding decorative details. They will design and construct a calendar base with interchangeable clay pieces to display the days and months, experimenting with different forms, textures and patterns to create a personalised design.

Each participant will create a unique handmade clay calendar to use or display at home. No previous ceramics experience is required. All pieces will be fired and glazed by the Tashkeel team following the workshop and made available for collection at a later date.
